How to Level Up When You Don’t Have Any Money
There are many ways to level up your life, even without money. You don’t have to start by upgrading your wardrobe with expensive and fashionable pieces. After all, leveling up comes down to growing as a human being, but also improving different areas of your life. And you yourself get to decide what needs to be improved and in what order.
If you follow any leveled-up women on social media, you might only see the looks and money. But don’t let it fool you. There’s a lot of leveling up to do that you can’t see.
By doing the things listed in this post, you can level up your life without spending any money. All of these things can both change your life a lot and make you much happier. You really can’t lose!
1. Grow your social circle
I constantly hear people saying they wish they had more friends. And those who have the exact same interests and the same mindset as you seem to be hard to find.
But that doesn’t mean that it’s anywhere near impossible to find your kind. They are out there and they want to find you. Together you can be so much more.
One of the very best ways to level up is to find new friends and get to know people who have similar goals as you. You need to cast your net and take every opportunity to get yourself out there.
2. Learn better time management
Everyone seems to be too busy. And that’s no wonder, given that there are simply so many things you have to and want to do and the 24 hours you get per day really isn’t as much as you’d think.
What you need to do, is to learn better time management. And I say learn because it really is a skill. You need to learn to have a better understanding of time and how much everything takes to complete. But you also need to know how exactly you’re spending your time and what you can omit for more important things.
Learning this skill can very literally change your everyday life.

3. Build your confidence
Thankfully growing older tends to help a lot with this without you even trying. But you can’t afford to wait till you’re 50 to finally have the courage to be unapologetically yourself and do what you’ve always wanted to do.
I know there are so many things you want to do but are afraid to try. Those things could give you so much, but you’re holding yourself back.
That simply won’t do anymore. You need to actively build your confidence and make it a goal of yours to put yourself out there, even when it’s scary.
4. Eat better
How and what you eat has a massive impact on how you feel and how much energy you have. While it’s of course fine to treat yourself on an occasion, eating fatty and sugary foods every day will definitely make you feel worse and give you less energy to go after your goals.
You also want to make sure that what you eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is healthy and diverse. Pay attention to how different foods make you feel and strive to eat healthily. It gets easier over time to resist temptations as you notice how much better healthy food makes you feel.
5. Take better care of your body
Eating good, healthy food is important, but so is taking care of your body. Thankfully, this doesn’t have to be an expensive investment. You can make a lot of improvements to your well-being for free.
First of all, you have to remember how important exercise is to your brain and mental health. If you normally sit a lot and stare at the computer screen for the majority of your day, your body is literally craving some exercise and not sitting down all the time.
Reaching your own goals related to physical activity is an easy way to get a sense of accomplishment and make you feel much better about yourself. And all you really need to do is to start running (even a little) or follow exercise videos on Youtube.

6. Improve your own qualities
One of the most important ways to level up without any money is to improve your own qualities. Too many people think that you can’t change who you are or that you will always be the same.
But you have the potential to be whoever you want to be. If you want to be more outgoing, find that within yourself. If you want to be kinder or more hardworking, make that happen.
Change is good and it can happen fast. Improving your own qualities is never easy, but any progress you make can be immensely valuable.
7. Learn better manners
Adults usually don’t care to learn better manners. But they are especially important if you want to level up and make a good impression on other people. In many social circles, knowing how to act in a fancy restaurant or how exactly you should engage in a conversation is crucial.
Just because you don’t know all the rules yet, doesn’t mean that you can’t learn them.
Even if you’re not interested in entering those better circles, learning better manners never hurts and they don’t cost you a penny.
8. Start a side hustle to increase your income
Lack of money might be your problem now, but not for long! You can start a side hustle to get some money and possibly even make it your full-time job one day.
Many side hustles require quite a lot of work before you can actually make some money, but it can still be worth it. If you need some money right away though, you could try transcribing or delivering food.
9. Learn new skills that will help your career
Are you concerned about your career prospects or do you plan to take your career to the next level? If that is the case, consciously learning the skills that can benefit your career can be a great idea.
Go through job ads in your field to get a better understanding of what kind of skills and qualities employers look for and think about how you can get those skills. Maybe you could learn to use a statistical program or learn to make better presentations?
10. Change your mindset
Having the right mindset is one of the most important things to have when you want to level up without money. Things might not be easy right now, but you need to believe that one day things will be better and you will have the life you want.
There will always be obstacles and setbacks on your way. It’s your mindset that defines how you will feel about your life and how fast you will bounce back though. Practice believing in yourself and having a stiff upper lip when things don’t go your way. Affirmations can help a lot with this.
