10 November Goals That Will Make Your Life Better
Are you interested in changing your life and becoming a better person? Then you need to set these November goals for yourself and make sure you stick to them.
Monthly goals are a wonderful way to change your life in an easy, bite-sized way. You don’t need to worry about sticking to the same habits forever or wonder how far you’ll get. These goals are literally just about November. You don’t need to think beyond that.
This is a great opportunity to see what works for you and what new habits can make your life better. Sometimes you try something for a few weeks just to realize that it actually doesn’t really make a difference for you. And that’s ok. You learned something new about yourself and that’s good.
This November, all you have to do is choose a few monthly goal ideas on this list and make your goals achievable. Sounds simple enough? Great, let’s get to the list!
1. Reach out to someone in your field every week
Knowing the right people makes a difference. If you have good connections, you can find better jobs and discover opportunities that you otherwise wouldn’t even know about.
This month, reach out to someone interesting in your field every week. It doesn’t have to be someone who is already super successful. It could be someone who has a job you’d like to have in the next few years or someone who is in the same situation as you that you think has potential.
2. Learn vocabulary
Are you learning a new language? Or would you perhaps like to improve your English vocabulary?
Either way, one useful goal to set for November is to learn some new words. It never hurts to have an extensive vocabulary and you’d be surprised by how many words you can learn in a few weeks.
You can for example choose to learn 100 or 200 new words this month. It’s very doable! For English, I like to use Vocabulary.com.
3. Read mystery books
Reading is always a good idea, although it can be hard to find enough time for it. But usually when you feel like you don’t have enough time, it’s really a time-management issue and not a lack of time you’re struggling with.
November is possibly the best month of the year to dive into books. And what better books to read when the weather is gloomy than mystery books? Go pick up a few that sound good and start reading!
4. Stop watching TV
I think we can all agree that watching TV usually isn’t a particularly good thing. Of course, you’re very much allowed to relax and enjoy your favorite shows. But it’s too easy to waste time watching series that you don’t really even care about or turn on the TV only the spend the whole time looking at your phone.
Set a goal for this November to take a 30-day break from watching TV. Just see what happens. You might find yourself with much more time on your hands and maybe you’ll even read some more!
5. Take a course
Want to learn something new? Why not take a course?
Not everything you learn has to be super useful if you don’t want it to be. You could take a sushi-making course just for fun or perhaps an acting course. If there’s something you’ve always wanted to try, now is the time.
Of course, you could also take a course on something that you really need to learn, whether it’s somehow connected to your career or your future plans.
It’s Quiz Time!
If you’ve spent hours on BuzzFeed trying to find out which Gilmore Girl or fruit you are, how about you take my quizzes to learn what kind of future awaits you?

6. Start a podcast
It feels like everyone and their grandmother has a podcast, so why not you too? If you have been wondering whether you should start one, do it this month.
You don’t have to commit to weekly episodes year-round, many podcasts simply do 10-episode seasons once a year. And who knows, you might get many more listeners than you expect!
7. Do a writing challenge
Are you a writer who would like to write more?
It’s very common and luckily, there’s an easy way to solve your problem: join a writing challenge that will push you to actually write.
You can of course come up with your own challenge, but if you happen to be planning on writing a novel, why not join the NaNoWriMo challenge?
8. Walk 5k a day
You know how everyone is talking about taking 10k steps a day? It’s because walking is a great way to move your body and setting simple goals like this is always a good idea.
But the beauty of setting 5k as the target is that it’s an easier goal to reach and according to research, 10k a day is not some magic number you should focus on. Simply increase your daily steps and you can be proud of yourself. The important thing is that your goal is doable.
It doesn’t take long to take 5000 steps and the time will go by quickly if you listen to a motivational podcast at the same time.
9. Try a new planner
Do you have a planner you like to use? Would you perhaps like to try a new one to see if that would fit your needs better? Or perhaps you are not currently using a planner and would like to get more organized?
In that case, definitely go get a new planner this month! There are plenty to choose from, for example, Day Designer, Panda Planner, or Erin Condren. If you have been thinking about getting a Clever Fox planner, read my review on it.
10. Go to sleep by 10 pm every night
Bedtime procrastination is frighteningly common. And it’s not doing you any favors. You know very well that you need to sleep enough and you’re not going to be happy in the morning if you go to sleep an hour or two later than you should.
This month, force yourself to go to sleep by 10 pm every night. It’s really easy, just turn off the screens and put your phone away without even thinking about it. Soon it’s going to become a habit and you’re going to love waking up well-rested, ready for the day.

30-Day Challenge!
This is a challenge for ambitious women who want to change their lives for real. It consists of simple yet effective daily tasks that will help you start building the future of your dreams.
